Bought this amount of books during last weekend's Popular Book Fair at VivaHome Mall.

But mostly are my husband's books. Out of 11 books that we bought only 4 were mine. Well, because i cant really find what i want. I was actually looking for Cecelia Ahern's book. I owned 4 of her books and i thought i could get more there. But unfortunately.. tak jumpe. But its alright, i bought some other very interesting books as well. 

It's a habit for me to wrap my book every time i got a new book. Hmm, actually come to think of it .. even if it's an old book i will also wrap it nicely. Yeap. Still remember last time during school time i used to get textbooks from SPBT ( Skim Pinjaman Buku Teks ), no matter how teruk the book that i got, i will still wrap it. In fact, i wrap all my books EXCEPT my buku latihan (exercise book) of course. Why? Coz, my mum will kill me if i do so. Being a Chinese mum, she will scold me for wasting wrapping paper. Hahaha.

Now that i no longer go to school.. of course ~
I'm married.. hello.. (-_-)
Therefore, i don't have any wrapping paper for my books so i seek alternative ways. I've plenty of sellotape.. so i just took it and stick it to all the corners so that my books will not get
DOG-EARED! I hate it when my books get dog eared. I'm serious. I rather it got teared.

My beloved pets wanted to read too. And i can only fix whatever i can. Luckily they didn't tear the whole book. Because i love my pets so much, i... forgive them.







I love both my pets and books a lot. I love visiting bookstores.. Popular.. Kinokuniya.. MPH blaablaaa.. I love the smell of the books and the smell of old yellowish brownish books! One so very weird thing that i always encounter whenever i enter a bookstore, is..... ( WARNING : its gonna be disgusting.. ) ... I will always feel like going to the washroom after the first 5 minutes spent in the bookstore. Hahaha! Guess that's the Mariko Aoki phenomenon!

According to the Wikipedia, this phenomenon happens because the smell of the ink causes laxative effects. 

I don't think this apply to everyone but its a really yes to me. Hahaha.

My Daily Facial Care

When I was young, my acne was really terribly teruk. Almost ran out of space for them to stay .. I m serious.

Due to the "ke-serious-an" therefore, I dare not to simply use any facial products. But there are times that I am so stubborn like a cow.. Went and tried some facial products and indirectly created a few more condos for the pimple to stay 🔥.. 

Thank God that my face is far more better compare to before this. Not perfect or flawless but at least most of the pimples moved away. Probably migrated. How did it happen? Thanks to one of the dermatologist that I went to few years back. "Ting Clinic Specialist" was the clinic name and it is located right in front of Sakura Restaurant. 

Now the real deal in this post is about some of the new products that I am just about to try it out. 

My daily facial routine will get started with Biore's Make Up Remover. 

This make up remover is easy to apply and removes make up easily without any cotton or hard work. Except the Lip & Eye Make Up Remover, you'll need a cotton pad of course. Just one to two pump is sufficient enough. Rub it all over to ur face and rinse it with water. Easy like makan kacang. 

After that I will use

Cetaphil Skin Cleanser as facial wash because I just want to make sure that I remove the make up properly. Just to be sure. Tried Clinelle facial wash before this.. And I stopped using it after a few months because i realised it's inviting pimples to migrate back to my face.Although the Cetaphil skin cleanser is a bit pricy and it's so pure like air kosong, I think it works fine for people with sensitive skin. At least it works for me that used to have pimples all over my face 😒..

Usually, that's my last step for my facial care routine at the end of the day. But I've been reading articles and posts saying that it's important to continue with toning your face after cleansing it. This is because toning it helps to clean your face like properly.Kiasu. That's why.. Hehehe. No la.. It's because to have residue of make up on your face is really not a good thing as it will clog up your pores on your face and lama-lama it will be really clogged like longkang tersumbat. Sorry for being so disgusting. But yea, so if it's possible make sure it's as clean as possible. By using a toner, it can also helps to refine pores. So that the face doesn't look like the surface of the moon? Hahaha.. 

So, I went and bought this. 

Bio-essence's Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Refreshing Toner. Phew.. Long name huh. According to the packaging it is said to Hydrates, Protects and Nourishes the skin. It is said that it has 3x of hydration power which consist of Power Nano Hyaluronic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid & Crabberry Extract. These substances helps to moisturize the skin instantly & helps to lock moisture in and also making sure that the skin is improved in it's elasticity & suppleness. 

When I first used it, one good thing about it was the toner doesn't make my skin feel tight. Good thing.. Because I've tried some other toner before this and the reason why I stop using one was because it's like stretching my face far apart and causes it grow pimples. But so far this one is Bagus. It really does moisturize your skin and yes, I saw residue of make up on the cotton pad that I used it to apply toner. Not to say that the make up remover that I used is not good but this is to show that just using a make up remover to remove make up is really NOT ENOUGH. 

After toning, you will need to.. 

Moisturize your skin with..? Moisturizer of course, takkan sunblock.. Lol. 

I bought the Bio-Essence's Bird Nest Nutri Collagen & Whitening Cream and used it as moisturizer. It contains water soluble proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, collagen protein, amino acids and many more natural herbal ingredients that helps for nourish the skin. Andddd to whiten? I don't mind about being fairer or darker but so far it works fine. It really makes my skin feel nourished and it's not greasy. That's so important as I hate it to have my face feeling greasy all over. And I will usually apply moisturizer before applying my make up base and foundation. So being non greasy is really important. Price? It's affordable I think. I got it at Watson with the price of 

RM 55.92. I think that's after discount. So far I am happy using it because it does what is says. 

But before this i was using 

Dior Hydra Life as my moisturizer. Got it at Sephora for more than RM200. Can't remember exactly how much it cost but it's definitely a worth buying one because I've been using it for more than one year. It gives instant moisture on your face and takes no time to penetrate into your face. Non greasy definitely! But because it's too pricy so I gave Bio-Essence a try. 

Not so much of hard work for my daily facial care but I am usually really malas to do all these. It's really good enough that I make an effort till moisturizing my face. Hahaha.

But please, if it's possible.. Don't be lazy to take care of your face. Or health or people around you. Being lazy is so sinful that you'll not want to know what are the consequences.

No such thing as too late. Start with small lil effort..

Nyett

Nyett being forced to put on a non fitting jersey

     Yes. That's Nyett, my dearest not so baby cat. Had him with me since he is about 3months old till today. Today is his last day to stay with me so i am dedicating the first post to him.

He is about 1 year & 5 months old now.  

He's a mix breed of Domestic Short Hair ( DSH ) & British Short Hair ( BSH )

Born on 20th April 2013

Named him as Nyett because he is naughty like a Monyet ( Monkey)

Independent but he is more manja now

He thinks he's a chameleon

He loves sunbathing 

His world is small because i don't let him go out at all

 He is not allowed to eat anything except his own food from Holistic or Origin

But he still curi my bread 

and ..

He loves eating rubber bands!

He rarely meow

He loves sleeping on my tummy

He loves to climb on me

He go crazy over my hair

He loves chewing my hair

He loves the fridge

He loves ice cubes

He is a slowpoke, always missed the cockraoches!

But .. its ok

Cause he come to me when i call

He touches me when he wanted to call me

or 

When i doesn't pay any attention to him

And most importantly..

He kisses me

Time to get manja-manja

This happens too when i don't feel like entertaining him..

     Last night, was not an easy night for me. I gave Nyett away for adoption. I have to. Well i have my reasons and i don't need to tell the whole wide world right? What's more important is, Nyett was my 1st cat that i had with me since he is a lil kitten. I spent a lot of time with him at home. He was there for me when i had no one else by my side.

I used to run away when i saw a cat. Bad experience causes me to have "feline-phobic". Does such word exist? I was sort of like kena "gigit" by a cat when i was in high school. Well, that cat wasn't really biting me i guess i was over reacting. Hello, its normal because i don't have any experience at all with any cats since i was young. Tried to bela a kitten when i was a lil girl but family doesn't allow it. Typical Chinese family, not trying to be racist but that's how my family is. Thinking that cat is "suey", means bad luck. If its a dog, its "ong". Hahaha.

My very first cat experience was with my .. used to be boyfriend but now my husband's cat, Miko.
Its a big fat cat i tell youuu. If i'm not mistaken he is a mix of a Maine Coon cat breed.

Miko kena paksa sarung jersey but tak muat.. too fatttt..
Sent to a pet boarding service, he thought Miko was PREGNANT
 lol

Handsome kan? Zaman muda.. biasa la.. hahaha

     Miko was an extremely manja and friendly cat. WAS sebab now that he is gone to i am not sure where because someone didn't shut the house door properly.. so, he went out and mengembara. Guess someone kidnapped him already. He is the first cat that taught me almost everything that he can about cat.  Iye la tu.. Love for cats started with Miko.

Back to NYETT..

So yea, Nyett is no longer with me

No more looking for Nyett in the dark

No more screaming after a cat that likes to go behind the TV

 No more cat stealing my bread 
No more cat playing with ice

No more cat following me around in the house

 No more cat climbing on me 

No more cat to kiss me

No more cat staring at me

 No more meow

No more Nyett..
